Extension Activities
Extension activities in DACE can encompass a variety of programs, initiatives, and projects aimed at enriching the learning experience of students and engaging them beyond the regular curriculum. Here are some few of extension activities commonly found in our DACE:
DACE often engage in various outreach programs aimed at benefiting the local community. This includes organizing health camps, providing technical assistance to local village and conducting workshops, training programs for underprivileged groups.
DACE has Collaboration with industries, this allows students to gain real-world experience and practical knowledge through internships, co-op programs, and industry-sponsored projects. These collaborations can also lead to research opportunities and technology transfer initiatives.
DACE offer programs to foster entrepreneurial skills among students. This could involve organizing workshops, seminars, and startup competitions, as well as providing mentorship and incubation support for student-led startups.
DACE extension activities promote research and innovation among students and faculty members. This involve organizing research symposiums, facilitating interdisciplinary collaborations, and providing funding and resources for research projects.
DACE organizing technical and cultural events such as seminars, conferences, hackathons, and cultural festivals can provide students with opportunities to showcase their talents, network with peers and professionals, and gain exposure to new ideas and technologies.
DACE can undertake initiatives focused on addressing social and environmental challenges. This may include organizing awareness campaigns, implementing sustainable practices on campus, and participating in community service projects.

DACE adopted five villages and organizing various programs for the benefit and development of those village peoples. The villages adopted are Vanjuvancherry, Serapancheri, Vellerithangal, Salamangalam and Karasangal. Our volunteer students from various clubs organized blood donation camp, and created the awareness program among the farmers on the harmful pesticides in agriculture in Karasangal.
